I don't know if this is the right place to post this, but I am looking for modules that go in depth on Jewish traditions that are in the Bible (like feast days, etc) and the history of the Jews and their culture from a biblical perspective.
"Col 2:6 Therefore as you have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him,
Col 2:7 having been firmly rooted and now being built up in Him and established in your faith, just as you were instructed, and overflowing with gratitude."

You might try these two modules, they are at Dr Dave's site (www.DoctorDaveT.com)

but also on this site:

Manners And Customs of Bible Lands by Fred H. Wight http://www.biblesupp...dated-10272011/

HIGHLIGHTS OF ARCHAEOLOGY IN BIBLE LANDS by Fred H. Wight http://www.biblesupp...in-bible-lands/
Thus says the LORD, "Let not a wise man boast of his wisdom, and let not the mighty man boast of his might, let not a rich man boast of his riches; but let him who boasts boast of this, that he understands and knows Me, (Jeremiah 9:23-24a)

"Defenders of the faith are inclined to be bitter until they learn to walk in the light of the Lord. When you have learned to walk in the light of the Lord, bitterness and contention are impossible." --Oswald Chambers, in Biblical Psychology from The Quotable Oswald Chambers.

I'm impressed that you are interested in feast days and jewish history. Israel, from the time of the split under Rehoboam never properly kept the holy days but Judah kept them off and on - but often lost the understanding of how to keep them. Multiple kings in the history of the Judean kindgom turned the people away from keeping the holy days as they should have been kept.

Jesus kept the holy days from his 12th birthday until his death so it seems right that we should have an interest in that. Here is a link to a PDF that is quite valuable reading on this topic though it is rather strong for most. I do not have the rights to create a topx file of it however.

Here I have to agree. Also, it might pay to take a trip to a couple of Messianic Jewish Websites that may also help you more. They have books there which actually deals with how non-Jews (Goys) can have a real affect on Traditional and other Jews. Perhaps one website I think will be of a huge help to you in your research is http://www.messianicjewish.net

Another one is http://www.messiahalive.net

Also a great must is if you really want to get into their thinking of Scripture, is an English translation of the 1985 Edition of the JPS Tanakh (only available as a hard copy), Complete Jewish Bible (CJB) and Jewish New Testament Commentary for e-Sword (both available at eStudySource.com).

A couple of other resources available here that might be worthwhile looking into are:
  • Gartenhaus, Jacob - The Influence of the Jews upon Civilization
  • Gartenhaus, Jacob - Winning Jews to Christ.
Finally, a book I heard of which I understand is really good, is "Coffee and Bagels." I can't tell you who the author is, or where you can get it from.

So, I've thrown you everything I can think of, plus the kitchen sink, and I trust that its really helpful to you.

I'm new here... and i didn't want to open new topic for my question, so I will post it here...

Is there some comentarises for e-sword that are based on Hebrew, Messianic, or generaly Hebrew mindset, so that i can add it to a e-sword?

Because all comentaries that I have (like Gill, Clarke etc.) are in protestant mindset (where most of the comentarise goes in direction of abolishiment of the Tora/Law etc.)

Rachem.....
I found this site it's not on E-sword....it's Online http://www.chabad.or...-with-Rashi.htm
it has scripture in English and Hebrew....plus if you click on the little box near the "GO" button it gives you Rashi's Commentary, verse by verse. I realize this isn't E-sword but it may help you. I found it by searching Bing....typed in Jewish Bible Commentary....I'm sure there are many others.I searched thru commentaries here at biblesupport.com and there was a few books for the commentary portion of E-sword but I wasn't sure they were what you were looking for....you can Type in Jewish in the download search window it'll give you around 7-8 pages of books....most of whichyou're not looking for but the few I found will be in there for you to look at for yourself. Good luck !!
