I do not normally use Microsoft Word for creating Bible modules. However, I am working on one that has unusual and varied special formatting. I have completed the Bible using the format "Book Chapter ¶ Verse Text". I have been using BeST to import Bibles, but I am having trouble with this one. The biggest issue is that of transferring text in small caps (lower case letters printed as small upper case ones). I have attached one book so that you can see the problem. I have tried exporting to XML, I have looked for a macro that would put RTF format symbols around the special text, all with no success. Any suggestions? Many thanx, Max

If I'm not mistaken, the latest e-Sword only shows 11 pt font in the Bible file anyway, doesn't it? Or did I misunderstand?

If the commentary, dictionary, or Bible module does not contain font size information, the default font size in e-Sword will be used. That's the way it should be...no font size specification.

Tool Tip Tool does not support small caps (at least not yet). I am not familiar with the bible template. Where is it located and how is it used? The size of the font is not important to me. I have shown everything as 11 pt., including the small caps. (Just FYI, small caps are not created by using a smaller font, but are a feature of many word processors and is supported by the RTF format using {\scaps text}.

I was able to locate the Bible template, downloaded it and tried it. However, small caps were either turned into all caps or small case.

I would certainly appreciate any help. I looked Tool Tip Tool, and it looks like a very good tool, it just did not conserve small caps. So, help please!
Thanx, Max
