Searcher

other than changing the small caps to to something else to identify the word

there is this and this is very slim and a possibly a wild goose chase within fonts there are section of the Unicode system I have seen small caps in the

IPA extension
Phonetic extension
Latin Extension D
in certain fonts

in most font these are empty Titus Cyberbit Basic has ABCDEJKMNOPTUVWZ -in Phonetic extension but not the missing letters and Titus cyberbit basic has one of the largest character counts out there

I have NOT seen the whole A-Z alphabet in small caps in any font

May God change our hearts to what the truth is

2Ti_2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Rom_9:16 So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.

2Ti 2:24-25  And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient, In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;

A request for the support of small caps was submitted to the developer of the TXT control used.

Probably will have to change the color of the text.
I did not expect any font to actually have small caps included, so it was a surprise to discover that Unicode does include most such letters as a special part of the font for phonetics. The Wikipedia article is helpful:

Titus Cyberbit has either 10,044 glyphs, or 29,934 glyphs, depending upon who one believes.
By way of contrast, Arial Unicode has 50,377 glyphs, Code2000 has 63,546 glyphs, and GNU Unifont has 63,449 glyphs.

There are a couple of fonts which claim more than 100,000 characters.

I have NOT seen the whole A-Z alphabet in small caps in any font

Small Caps should be done as a separate font. (There are more changes than simply reducing the sixe to ten points.) Good fonts will include them as a separate package. The price tag of the fonts I've seen, that include small caps, has never been under four digits.

Hi Searcher

Probably will have to change the color of the text.

I have tried \scaps sometimes for Bibles that use "LORD" (in small capitals) instead of "Jehovah", but e-Sword doesn't support them, so I have ended up using regular capitals.

Since Jon mentioned that a request have been made that small capitals be included, so they might be supported in a future version, I'd suggest you use a different color but keep the \scaps tag. That way, when that feature is added, your module will work without need of any changes. Or you could just use regular capitals if that is possible.

Regards,

Carlos
