making my own Study Bible etc

Are you using e-Sword as one of the tools for that project?
if so, how are you using e-Sword?

It is a lot longer than I thought due to me copying and pasting each one.  Any suggestions and help would be great.

I probably am missing something, but anyway.

In my experience, it is easier/faster/more accurate to edit the entire document using a good word processor, or text editor, and save the cleaned up document as a text file, ready to be imported using one's import tool of choice. (PERL, Python, etc.)

I have too many incomplete projects, to take on another one.

Probably the most useful thing I can do for you, would be to update the documentation I've written, to include e-Sword Resource Format Specification 3.0, and publicly release it.

What is Python and how do you use it?

Python is a cross-platform programming language.
I think it is an easy-to-learn language.

For more info about the language goto python.org.

HI all
I was told that the Word has Picking which I was told that the owner would like his Bible in different Bible software.
Here is The Word version of Mat 1:
Attached File  The Word Pickering.JPG   159.67K   62 downloads

Here is what I am putting together slightly different:
Attached File  Pickering.JPG   244.95K   65 downloads

It is in a bible and a commentary
The Bible is easier than the commentary for the commentary is more editing.
check out the upload of what I have done so far.

Thanks

HI all,

Please Tell me what you think of the two version of Pickering Bible.
And if it is worth me continuing with this project?

An advantage to having footnotes in commentary format is to be able to see verse as popup or click on verse references.

thanks a lot

From my POV it is well worth it. It appears as though you are doing top drawer work. Pat yourself o the back. You deserve it.

Niobi,
This translation and notes are based on the best manuscripts in my opinion. The notes represent a straightforward no nonsense interpretation of scripture with great textual criiticism comments. I love the translation notes!

I know this module would be a tremendous blessing for e sword users based on what you show above as an example.

If you have the time to do it, it will bless many!

Blessings,
Peter
