It's time to embarrass a good friend of mine who has no idea I'm posting this. :) People are quick to ask for time consuming requests that they want you to do. Few are willing to to spend their time to make it happen.

James (Cato) spent many hours (close to the triple digits) recreating A.C. Gaebelein's Annotated Bible Commentary for e-Sword. The old module was so poorly formated and organized, the module was completely unusable. In fact, I deleted it for this reason.

James painstakingly organized and applied the commentary according to each passage. He made sure each implicit verse reference (that he could find) was changed to explicit and tooltipped. I'm proud of the professional work James has done. His zealous attitude is contagious and his work ethic is inspiring.

Version 10.1 of e-Sword will give the module maker to ability to control the order of comments (when multiple comments exist for a single verse). This paves the way for us to remake the Pulpit Commentary, this time doing it "right". James has been "reminding" me for sometime about remaking the Pulpit Commentary (and other modules with poor formatting). We're prepared to begin soon, so if would like to help, please contact one of us soon.

Hi Josh,
I got the older one. I think I got that from the days of e-Sword Users. Anyway mate, you're dead right about the format of that one that it is a shocker.

Anyway I've downloaded this one that Cato worked on, and have yet to install it. I'll give you my thoughts on it after having plonked it on.

Hi Josh,
OK, got it installed and had me a great gand at it, and I honestly have to say "I am impressed." This is a radically huge improvement from the old file. And I would say it really raises the bar on the requirements of module creation.

So, huge Kudos to Cato (James) for his work on this file, and now it will make it really worthwhile using.

Blessings,

I didn't get a chance to use the old one, but I have the new one installed and I've taken a look at some first class work. Thanks Sincerely Cato. I know in my heart that God will use this work.

Philippians 4:6-7 (KJV)
6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. 7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

I thank all of you for your kind words of appreciation and encouragement. However a special thanks goes out to Josh Bond for getting me a very clean copy of the Annotated Bible. Without his help this project would not be possible. So thank you Josh!

A good and Blessed Sunday morning, The site looks totally different to what I am used to. However thank you for all the hard work done, I have been using the sword with an electronic edge for years now and still depend on it a great deal.

I see this is your first post, so WELCOME to BibleSupport. I hope that you enjoy it as much as I do. YES, BibleSupport looks and works great! It's head and shoulders above anything we've had in the past. I'll have to say that I'm addicted to BibleSupport and e-Sword. There is something new and wonderful here to download frequently.

I am very appreciative of the efforts that it takes to compile these commentaries and get them usable and looking good. Thank you very much for your efforts James. I have no doubt that God is also pleased with your attitude of service and the diligence you have shown in preparing this work for others.
Giving is God's way and we all need to learn and PRACTICE that way.
