I was afraid that would happen. The Pandigital has Andriod 1.6 (own version). Oh well.

There is an update available for the pandigital and it moves it to 2.0 I think it is. Mysword version 2 runs on it.

Thanks

I have it on a white pandigital that is about 8 months old as well as on a pocket entourage edge and it works fine. Great resource for android!

Did you have to root the pandigital or did it work as is?
Thanks for the information.

Should mention, there are a lot of differences between the white one and the colored ones. If you have one of them you should snoop slatedroid.com for more info on what unit you have. There were some units that run android 1.6 only. I think all whites are upgradeable, not sure about the others.

Having looked at this discussion, my thinking would be to get the official guff from the creator(s) of mySword of what is and what is not compatible, and plonk it on here somewhere. That would take all the hassle our of having to guess it, and at least we all can have a reference point to where we can know and go.

Blessings,
Stephen (Php 1:21).

That would be great though not sure they would be able to without buying each and every tablet available and trying them.

Android is a phone system in the older versions and it has been adapted to tablets by makers. The makers don't always get a good adaptation thus some apps work on some units and not others.

The pandigital for example will run some versions of an app but not other versions :-)

I have not owned any pads yet but I would guess that MySword would run great on a Samsung galaxy Tab. The MySword developers are designing enhancements that are specifically designed for the ice cream sandwich version of Android. I am holding off on buying a nice tablet until the tablets and MySword for these tablets is available. In the meantime I am shopping around for a cheap used one to use which is why i asked about Pandigital. I may try out the Kindle fire when it is released instead.
