Hi, Patch,

Wilson's book is a classicin the study of Bible typology. Wilson was a conservative evangelical, and writes with a Christocentric focus. BibSup has this book formatted as an 8x .top file here - http://www.biblesupp...le-typestopexe/

My website has this module formatted as a 9-10x dictionary (thank you, Dyan!). It's nice having those entries formatted like a .dctx module. It's available on this page.

Dr D just a thought have you or Josh ever considered creating a page with the modules available on your site
so if a module that is on your site is searched for on this site it will be found here then a link will take you to DoctorDaveT.com to download

May God change our hearts to what the truth is

2Ti_2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Rom_9:16 So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.

2Ti 2:24-25  And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient, In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;

I don't think Dave uses a content management system (i.e. a database) but instead static webpages. So there's not a way to show results from his site. Most of the public domain (and even the non-public domain  ) modules are eventually uploaded here, one way or another. A number of modules here were originally made by Dave or his crew.

Hi, Guys,

My web skills are limited. So, building my site in database format was not (at the time my wife and I built it) outside our realm of possibility. If I were to re-do it today - maybe. (But I'm not re-doing it today. Nor tomorrow.)

As to Josh's statement about modules migrating here - yep; they eventually work their way over. Module Robot has been a great guy in helping Josh bring eSword modules to this site. (Make sure you send him a thank you note for his work. Also, check out his many modules he has uploaded. Whoa.) A few others have been very helpful, too.

Stop by and see what else I have besides Wilson's Dictionary (in .dctx format!). We have 1,000+ volumes of material that are conservative, evangelical in their exposition and theology.

Dave,
Just to think that I was just about to click on the Post button to mention about that dictionary being in .dctx format when your just sent this one. Beat me to it, and saved me from doing it.

To everyone else,
This is an excellent tool to have as part of good exegetical study. Fact is a part of Hermeneutic study is knowing about types and anti-types, finding them and then looking for the fulfilled (anti) type. Dr Lewis Wilson's Dictionary of Bible Types will certainly be helpful as part of your research work into this field of Bible study.

Back to Dr Dave,
BTW, mate, thanks for this dictionary as it is a real help in my theological studies. I've been told that its not actually the best dictionary for the study of Bible types but it does more than just helps in passing the grade.

So, again, Dave, thanks a heap to you and your band for this dictionary.

Blessings,
