Grant Metcalf of Bartimaeus Alliance of the Blind has sent me a request for help. After taking a look at the project, I'm not able to do it, but I told him I'd post it here. Someone may have the technical ability and available time to tackle it.

He's looking for someone to transcribe "The Essentials of Biblical Hebrew" by Kyle Yates. This work will ultimately end up as a braille reference work. But for now, what he's looking for is for it to be .rtf/unicode.

Anyone interested in this project should contact Grant directly at the below information.

Just so no one's lost in the technical language of RTF and unicode, no technical knowledge is required. Advanced knowledge of Hebrew is required to complete the project in a reasonable amount of time. The "difficult " part of this project will be someone using a Hebrew software keyboard to generate each Hebrew character. The generated character is pasted it into a word processor, where by it becomes unicode behind the scenes (no technical knowledge needed).

I say "difficult" because if you're familiar with Hebrew, it won't be difficult--it will just be tedious. If you're not very familar with Hebrew, it will be super time consuming as you will spend more time determining what the Hebrew character is and what the digital equivalent of it is, rather than actually keying the character. That's why I wasn't able to help with this.
