This site is a blessing beyond measure!

Question - I just got a new computer. My old computer has a ton of modules. Is there a way to simply transfer the modules from one computer to another?

If there is already a post on this, please point me in that direction.

Thanks,

John155 in Alameda, CA

If the modules are for e-Sword 9x or 10x, then just install e-Sword on your new computer and then copy the modules over into the program files/e-Sword (or program files (x86)/e-sword) folder. Then when you start e-Sword, they should all be there waiting for you to use.

A memory stick is a great tool for this kind of project.

So, what was the type of file you downloaded, as in, what was the extension (the last three characters after the dot) of the file (e.g., Luther.exe)?

More information would be helpful so that we can help you.

Thanks,

Good day Josh.

PLEASE HELP.

I've just spent over a week, trying to install a 'Dictionary' from BibleSupport.com to e-Sword. I have just found out that it was being posted to the wrong "address" ( e.g.  ....\user\jeep\... instead of to a file in e-Sword ...\program(x86)\...\dctx). Now Josh, could you help me out here? I have no clue of how to correct that?

May God bless you abundantly,

Gordon Mylroie

Simple, all you need to do is move the file from that location to the default e-Sword location in Windows Explorer.

Trust this is helpful.

Blessings,

Stephen (Php 1:21).
