As far as I can tell all URL within tpx and refx modules nolonger work.

Why is this and how would one fix the URLs so that they would work?

They use to work just fine.

Will,

while I can't speak for all of them, I think I can explain what happened with the ones I created. T3 and eS9x "automatically" knew that when I typed in an internet address (like "www.DoctorDaveT.com"), that it was a hyperlink. No formatting was necessary - so I never included any.

When eS10 was released, there were some upgrades/updates on the software that Rick uses for eSword. Some of those updates have broken the automatic recognition of hyperlinks that were originally inserted without formatting.

As I build new modules using T3 (and the new T4), I include the proper formatting. So all my current module builds will have working hyperlinks. But all of the old ones - which were not formated - will not work.

As to fixing: 1) .refx files cannot be modified; therefore, they are "unfixable"; 2) .topx modules can be repaired using the "Insert Hyperlink" button in the editor window.

For internet addresses on irrepairable modules, simply copy the internet address and "paste and go" in your internet browser.

Hi Dave,
As for the "proper formatting" goes, could you post the code for that format which you use.

Blessings,

Thanks Dave, for what's up. I will go back and format the URLs in my Topic modules. Hopefully Rick could re-update the software to automatically read the URL again anyway so that other' stuff will work.

OK, I edited the links in my topic file but they still do not work. Do I have to change the Topic file to a ref file before they will work, or what?

OK, I edited the hyperlinks then turned the topic module into a ref file and the hyperlinks still do not open the web-pages.
