The -h -b one launches e-Sword and it runs in memory but isn't on the taskbar. I didn't try the rest.

I have no idea what any of that means nor how to even check it. Feeling pretty dumb at the moment.

You have to open a terminal in Windows, and then type "e-Sword -h -p" or whichever of those lines I wrote, that you'd like to test out.

The last 3 launch e-Sword with no taskbar icon and you can't alt-tab to reach it either. The rest launch only one of e-Sword's features without launching the whole application. For example, -r launches the Bible Reading Plan window.

Hi @ all,

is there any option to open e-Sword with a specific bible verse from the command promt or/and from another external source? For example as hyperlink or something else?

e.g.

e-sword -h -b "Genesis 1:15"       -> Should open E-Sword with the Book Genesis Chapter 1 Vers 15

  or

file:///C:/Program%20Files%20(x86)/e-Sword/e-sword.exe -h -b "Genesis 1:15"     (as a hyperlink)

But I don't know the command options...

One of my applications is to open e-sword from my evernote notes (for example as hyperlink). Is this possible? That would be great. I want to use evernote to manage my own comments/notes in a better way than "topic notes" in e-sword, that has only one level of notes (no folders/stacks).

Thank you very much for your help.

Greetings, Mario

Oh I know the functions of e-sword hotkey. that's why I was wondering why you wrote me this message.

If someone has an answer for my question, it would be great. I know there are command prompt options, but not the exact syntax. Please don't write messages that don't answer my question :-)

Be blessed, Mario
