I am a software developer and I am creating a tool that I need to be able to search kjv+.bblx. I am currently opening the kjv+.bblx file with Sqlite3 with Python bindings and can read a verse blog but I need to search it for certain words. It looks like its encoded, does anyone know how to do this? If this is encrypted where can I find a KJV+ source file that is plain text?

Official e-Sword modules are encrypted. Plain source for the KJV? Thousands of websites like this: http://printkjv.ifbweb.com/

Edit: Oh i just noticed you wanted KJV Plus Strongs. That's harder to find in plain text. You could clean these html files with python. THere may be better sources. http://www.godrules..../kjvstrongs.htm

I thought the bibles were encrypted. I know the dictionaries are not. The site you gave only had the KJV but I need KJV with strongs and haven't found a plain text version yet. Do you know of a site that has one?

Yeah, the second site I gave has KJV plus strongs. It's not plain text--it's HTML. You will have to clean the html out, leaving plain text. You can do that with python.

But I think David found you a better source in MS Word, easily exportable to plain text.
