I have clicked on the "Option" menu in e-Sword 10.0.5, and then checked aboth search options, "Highlight Search Results" and "Save Search Terms."

This seems to work well except for the following scenario:
I wanted to search for just one word, "theology" in just one commentary, "Ray Stedman - Commentary On Selected Books of the Bible." This was an e-Sword module that I found and downloaded from BibleSupport.

This option works on the "regular" commentary modules such as Matthew Henry, JFB, etc. However, the option of highlighting search results do not seem to work with the particular BibleSupport module (Ray Stedman).

The mechanics of my search are as follows: I first click on the Stedman tab under my commentaries, then click on the search button (binoculars) found on the tool bar below all commentary tabs. When the search window then comes up, I type in my one word, theology, and then make sure the Stedman commentary is selected, and hit the search button there.

I do get quite a list of places where theology appears in the Stedman commentary, but they are not highlighted. This one particular commentary by Ray Stedman seems to be the only one that does not highlight search results.

Any insight/thoughts/suggestions?

It's a problem with that resource. We see in modules converted from another Bible software format or even when the module was made for e-Sword but includes its own RTF headers. The color table information is missing from that header. I can fix it. Give me a link to the exact resource?

I just noticed that some time back after I made this post, you had answere it.  Don't know if your offer still stands regarding getting the exact resource and then you fixing it, but I think this is the one I currently have in my copy of e-Sword:
