Why is this then not a universal problem?  Hm...

Now, isn't this an interesting kettle of fish!   I have an old Asus laptop, Win7 home, that I bought back in Dec 2011 at BestBuy.  It's so slow that I might only turn it on every 18 months or so just to make sure it still works as a back-up.  I pulled it out and eSword 12.00 installed slick-as-a-whistle!  Looks like another awesome winner!  Why work on one computer, but not the other?  Only God knows, I sure don't.   I have until January 20th to replace the Windows 7 systems entirely, then hopefully this toothache will completely vanish....until the next one.  LOL

Menus - Modules and ModulesHD have been changed to Modules(3) and Modules(4), which stand for version 3 and 4.  Version 3 only work with e-Sword/PC.  Version 4 work with iOS and Mac e-Sword and some version 4 work with e-Sword/PC.

**** Problem solved. ****

The issue was that the Windows Locale was Chinese, and it needs to be English.

T4 is now working.

Hi, this is a great program!  Running it tonight (12/31/2019) I am getting the following error message after completely processing the file:

Report the following:

⎕WI ERROR: near ")": syntax error
DBExec[11] ret←obj ⎕wi 'XExec>ds' sql
                   ^
_____________________________________

DBExec[11] *
DBCreate[17]
WriteBbli[115]
>[fmTxCtrl.mModules4.mBbli;Click]
<[fmTxCtrl;Wait]
Start[108]

It appears that this happens while attempting to save the file.  (I am trying to create a BBLI file.)  I am using the 2019.10.07 version.

Any suggestions as to where to start looking for an issue?

Many thanx, Max

I would need to look at your rtf file that you are using in T4. If you can give me a OneDrive, or Dropbox link in a private message I will take a look to see if I can repeat the error.
