I am trying to create my own bible module from a KJV text file. How do you create the extra space between The verse reference number and the text. How ever much space I add in the RTF file ToolTip NT removes it when converting it to a BBLX file. Many other modules have two spaces but the converting leaves only one.

Thanks for your help.

A Newby ToolTip user,

Mark

If you are spacing it correctly there should be two little black dots between the reference number and the verse text

T4 removes leading and trailing spaces.  You can try a non-breaking space by entering Ctrl+Shift+Spacebar

In the user guide i saw an option to save BIBLE modules in UTF format. but in the version 2.57 i could not find the option. is it removed?. in the telugu BIBLE module i find some mistakes in the way GOD's name was displayed. I am assuming that this may be due to the modules not being saved in UTF format. is there way presently in T4 to save BIBLE modules in UTF format especially for foreign languages.

thanks

david

Yes, it has been removed as it was unnecessary.  Note - the RTF data in the other modes supports unicode.

Hi David,

If you haven't done so yet, click here to download the Word2007RTFSpec9 documentation. UTF is covered in it, of how it works within the RTF coding system. If you already have this document, then just open it up in your favorite pdf reader, and simply do a search on UTF, and from there you should get the information you need of how to use it.

Blessings,

T4 v2.60 has been posted.  The main change is word select.  Double-click a word, or double-click and drag to select series of words, any trailing spaces are deselected.  This is useful when you want to change the attributes of a word such as underlining.  The trailing space is traditionally included in word select, so if you underline the new selection, the trailing space is include. Bible Support's editor works this way as do most word processors.  I personally don't like this behavior, so I changed it while working on a large project with lots of word edits.  It is possible that I will make this optional in the future, and perhaps include more characters that just spaces.

2.60 has numerous other edits and additions, but were introduced for a special project and are not exposed in the general release.

Hi Brent,

I notice that double click on Hebrew words no longer selects anything.

========================================
Version 2.62 11/26/2015
========================================
-- Fixed - changing indents using the format tool bar would miscalculate the selected paragraph if the last character position of a paragraph was selected causing selection of both the current and next paragraph.
-- Changed - after coloring tooltips, the text selection is maintained.
