The new method produces modules that are 30-40% smaller English only modules than before.  But note - this method has not been optimized for speed.  Recreating the AKJV/AKJV+ modules took nearly 2 hours each on my slow machine!

 

This new method is accessed via Modules+Bible+Save Bible Module (Method 2)  book chap:verse. 

 

Note - this new method ignores the "Old RTF" and "Font Size set by e-Sword" switches.

 

The old method still remains.  .

I'm finding it to be rather curious as to the reason for this considering that:

1. It doesn't speed loading of a file
2. and it ignores "Old RTF" and Font Size set by e-Sword" switches.

So, what's it there for?

The "I asked for it" bit by JPG really wasn't an answer, but the "Searchable Greek is one thing for which this method was added..." bit certainly did the trick.

 

OK, now I got that, just a tad of an explanation and kind of reasoning thingy to my question.

 

When you put up that modification to the program, it sort of struck me as being somewhat weird, and so got me to asking myself, "what's the point of it if it seemingly really  doesn't do anything." Now, I gotta admit that this by appearances, looked a bit crazy, and so I really had to ask that question.

 

So, thanks for your reply, and hope you weren't offended by my question.

I have started using ToolTip and I am really impressed.

 

Question: Is there a way to validate "Book / Chapter / Verse in terms of the correctness thereof in a Bible module, e.g. spaces or colons at the correct places, not references within the text itself?

can you confirm, mode 2 is the 'easy spoof' mode? for the Strong's numbers.
