Although This commentary is well Scripture tool tipped, I think that both Hebrew and Greek Text could use Strong's Numbering. Also, where individual Hebrew and Greek words are used, a corresponding transliterated words needs to be added. I think this would make this Commentary more accessible for those who do not understand Hebrew and Greek.

It is finished. I estimated 2 weeks and it took 2 months. It would have taken 2 years (or 20 years) without Brent Hildebrand's ToolTip NT. And a special thanks for "Raymond" for his help earlier today!

Excellent work Josh! This was a massive undertaking that not many of us have the skill or perseverance to accomplish. You, BH, and Raymond (along with many others) have truly been a gift from God to the free Bible software community.

I must confess that I really have to strain to understand what Lange is saying much of the time, but I know that I will benefit from this commentary. The English in this commentary almost seems like a foreign language at times. The strain to understand will be valuable in and of itself.

It is a wonderful addition to my esword collection, i have already used it with great success on one of my Bible studies. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all you do Josh. You are definately a blessing to all of us who use Esword.

Couldn't you say this about any commentary with emphasis on the original languages? Isn't this something we can use multiple windows for? I.e., have a bible view open with a bible with Strong's numbers. Why do we have to have that in the commentaries, also?

Right, that's true of any original language intensive resource. At first, I would read Lange and not understand any of it. Then as I got used to his writing style, more of it sinks in. It is very academic. But with Lange's, you're in the major leagues. If you want to evaluate his commentary on Greek or Hebrew, you will need to understand more about those languages. But I find even not knowing Greek and Hebrew that I can glean quite a bit from his text.

Probably reads like a childs book to the that circle of bible scholars that flourished in Langes day. Great great stuff. So much there.

I'm curious how you go so much of the greek/text in the document? Is that a recognized font in some OCR program that you have or was it added in? the later option would be an extremely time intensive undertaking, but most of us would never know if there were any spelling errors..
I'm still amazed that it's done and I have a copy. I've not yet had a change to share with friends who will be interested.. There will be many who will benefit from this I have no doubt..
