Only if it can be parsed clearly. So let's say that the commentary has a reference to Job10:2-3;10 it will create a reference to Job 10:2, but not to Job 10:10 while (IIRC) the e-Sword tool tip would show Job 10:10.

Regards,
Rob

After reading through the thread here, not sure that any one has a fool proof way to get bblx files into the mysword format?

Python script that reads unencrypted resources for one program, and spits out unencrypted resources for the other programs.
It throws out about half of the presentation markup, but what is left is usually teh default presentation format for the program it is being converted to.

I was wondering is it possible to do this with the esword NASB+ with greek/hebrew references bible? I have tried and it seems like it wants to work and it is almost there but maybe someone has done this and I can benefit from your experience.

Cheers, jeff

Anyone done anymore with this effort? I have a bible translation that I am working on, compiling with Brents tool tip program, hthe RTF codes are an issue, the program really wants HTML. Wonder if there is a way to easily remove the RTF from a compiled module? I tried a hex editor with little success.

Hi,

I do not have My Sword yet but I will get one next year, any way ...
Try using BeST 2 to convert the bblx to bbl then convert to my sword. Peter was saying something about the new converter does not need to be open with the Word - just the converter.
(Please correct me if I am wrong)...

If you can not get BeST 2 to work Please let me know and I can convert the Bible version 9 to version 7 to be converted,

thanks
