Hi

if the file is a zip file, what you need to do is
1. Unzip the file
2a. Move the modules to mysword that is on your phone or tablet
2b. Those modules need to go to books folder in mysword folder
3. Open mysword, click on b for books and look for those modules.

But, I'm not using a Tablet or Phone. I'm using a laptop computer.

e-Sword and MySword are not compatible to each other, and although they use the same Database system (SQLite) the file extensions are as different as chalk is from cheese.



Its important to realize that due to the incompatibility of the formats, MySword files will not run on e-Sword, and vise versa. Moreover, e-Sword uses rtf coding in the text, as where MySword doesn't. I'm not too sure what you could call the coding MySword uses in the text.



Also, please note, e-Sword will not under any circumstances run on Android devices, such as cellphones and tablets, unless you can write a program that will get e-Sword to do that.

I downloaded the MySword file - Meyer Library of Works, but I do not know what to do next. What should I do.

But the F.B. Meyer collection has only some of his works. I wish you could make a Meyer Library for e-sword also. And, how can I view MySword modules - how does it work?

                                                                                     King James with Apocrypha

 

 

So Ive been using E-sword since it came out, and from the beggining ive downloaded the king james version with the apocrypha. But then they removed the module from my esword with a version update, and also it was removed from the E-sword module download store. But i still had the old version of E-sword installed on my 2nd laptop which i didnt update. So i went in the install directory and copied the King James with Apocrypha (kjva.bblx) to my first laptop and put it in the install directory and it worked.    But now i use Mysword Bible app on android and cant find the King James with Apocrypha Module. So i tried to copy the King James with Apocrypha (kjva.bblx) from E-sword on my computer to Msword on my android device and it does'nt work. I also tried to change the (kjva.bblx) extension from E-sword to (kjva.bbl.mybible) and then to put it to Mysword on my anrdoid device an it still does'nt work it says "Unable to convert BLOB to string."

So i was hoping someone can convert the original E-sword file to make it work on Mysword for Android.           

I cant attach the King James with Apocrypha (kjva.bblx) module to this topic i keep getting a error that says "you aren't premitted to upload this kind of file."

So people help me where can i upload the file so someone can convert it to Mysword for android. It works fine for E-sword so if you dont have it you can get it. But i need help uploading it so someone with any ideas let me know. Hi Everyone,

 

I have changed computers and I am using win 8. I have tried to right-click to open cmnd prompt in MYSWORDMIGRATION and this is not working anymore....Does anyone have a workaround for this?

Hi Immahebrew,

mysword does not have or allow a section for the Apocrypha books. You will find it as a book not part of the Bible.

Hi OWO,

have you down loaded the migration tool for the 64 bit or the 32bit. I think windows 8 uses 64 bit.
that is my suggestion, because I do not use windows 8.
