Smith's Bible Dictionary is in the downloads of the e-Sword program.

Click on downloads and dictionaries and select Smith.

Then download and start.

I like also to see Green's Interlinear.

To be perfectly honest there is a wealth of information of books that are being forgotten like the Chuck Swindoll series , David Jeremiah, Tim Lahaye, and many more would be a fantastic way to be able to go to like your christian book store and purchase an ebook and be able to incorporate that book into your program so that the bible verses that are referenced in the book are auto scanned and then easily referenced in the book and notes block during your study for furthering your studying of the topic that you have chosen.

They're not being forgotten - they're under copyright. You have to get permission for newer works, and they many times end up being pay modules distributed only by Rick Meyers. You could do what you suggest for your own personal use, but you couldn't distribute it without permission. I hope this helps some.

Philippians 4:6-7 (KJV)
6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. 7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Hi James "Super Kitty,"

I'm unsure as to what the "Super Kitty" is about, but I reckon it will make an interesting story.

OK, now to the point.

There are a great deal of works which people would like to have as e-Sword resources which are copyright, and as to the practicality of creating them for public use is another question which can be debated. With that said, one of the issues with copyright material, and that of the publishers who hold the copyright, would be adverse to the idea of them being made available as free resources, and therefore would require them to be a paid resource.

If you are willing to pay for works such as these you mention, you could contact either Rick Meyers at the e-Sword website or Phil Stoner at the eStudySource website, and make your suggestion/request with either or both of them there.

I trust this will even help you further and in addition to what Journey has shared with you.

Blessings,

Hi all. I am interested in what type of modules people would like to have for e-Sword? I make modules of all sorts for people to study the Word of God.

thanks
Patchworkid

Thanks, I would like

"The Theology of the Old Testament" by A. B. Davidson and

"The Canon of the Old and New Testaments" by Archibald Alexander

A course I am taking is using these.  It would be much easier to work with them in esword than pdf.  Thank-you for your help.

Michael

Great question! :) Emanuel Tov's _Parallel Aligned Hebrew Aramaic and Greek Texts of Jewish Scripture_. This resource is an essential aid for all those interested in the original Jewish-Greek linguistic context of LXX and NT - and thus the original meanings of the Biblical texts. I already posted that request here, with info:

Is there a mod that will allow more colors for backgrounds and fonts?
