There may some difficulty in creating a module of the SQV bible version, the author of this version uses the Hebrew names for each book of the bible. The bible authoring tool for E-Sword uses the English names for the bible books this might cause a conflict with the authoring tool

Hi all,

I have started this bible but looking at it is a long process. I compared the word doc/pdf to the rft used in Tool Tip Tool NT.

Attached File  Shem Qadosh Version SQV.zip   20.2MB   11 downloads

When you see something like this ïåùàø and it is to look like this ןושאר

click on find and replace; Find: ïåùàø  and Replace: ןושאר

The reason is when I OCR the pdf it came out overlapping, when I enlarged the font size. In the zip file is an ocr, pdf, rtf of the bible.

Can someone finish working on it?

Thanks

It might be easier to start over and do it by cutting and pasting from the pdf file

Hi

no, you will not be able to get the Hebrew text from the pdf to the ms Word (I've tried it). Use the ocr file, you can get the Hebrew text from it. The rtf is a plain text.

Thanks

Why not contact the author and ask for a docx file?

That would be one way but there is still the matter of changing the text in the docx file to rft without losing the Hebrew wording

I am slowly working on the bible module for the SQV the footnotes will have to put into a separate commentary file. The rtf file is missing verses in some places and has added unneeded characters throughout. So this will be a very big editing job at this point but I think it can be done

Hi TJ Higgins,

I have found a very easy way but lengthy proof reading the bible.  I will post what I am doing so you can finish.

thanks
