Once upon a time I used the e-Sword module for the Hebrew Old Testament Interlinear (found here in this site) and transferred it to a MySword module (I converted the Windows 1255 characters to UTF8 for that). Sadly there is a bug in the browser engine on Gingerbread and earlier, which caused some words to be written left-to-right, while most of the words remained RTL. This was annoying, so I didn't do anything with the modules.

Since a few days I have a Galaxy Tab running Honeycomb and there the bug has been fixed. I think it's time to share the module with the annotation that it requires at least Honeycomb (Android version 3.x). I also used the same source to make a module without the interlinear text (only the Hebrew text and the Strong numbers).

The interlinear version can be downloaded here: IHOT+.bbl.mybible
The plain version can be downloaded here: HOT+.bbl.mybible

To give you an idea of what the interlinear version looks like, see the screen dump.

Regards,
Rob

(Edited to add and to fix links)
P.S., I don't read Hebrew, I just did a few visual comparisons with the text on mechon-mamre.org.

Thanks A. Rob,
Do you want to post the modules in the MySword modules section for people to be able to find them easier in the future?

Yes, that would be great. I did it this way for now since I have no post rights in the modules section. For me it's also fine if you place them there, but having them there will indeed be easier for people to find them.

TIA,
Rob

You should be able to upload. What does it say when you try? (You click the "Upload" button on the main downloads portal.)

I just change A. Rob to the uploader for the posts.

A. Rob, you should be able to edit these posts and update them at any time.

Thanks, I edited the entries to include the restrictions for the Android version.
@Josh, in the upper right of the downloads page, it says that I cannot upload new files. I don't mind that, this way works fine for me. I will not be that frequent a poster, I just share that which I created for myself :)

Edited to correct myself: I can see that via the main page I can indeed upload files. I was only looking at the MySword Downloads page... I should learn to read better sometimes.

Regards,
Rob
