The NET Bible Notes didn't display properly in e-Sword 10. The module was extremely slow, displayed garbled search results, and displayed garbled text when the Next Comment or Previous Comment icon was used. Some of these issues were pointed out during e-Sword 10 testing and I posted a manual fix for one of these issues.

Since then, I have fixed the resources hosted on Bible.org's site. The repaired premium and free resources have been uploaded and are available here: http://bible.org/esword

Were there issues other than the manual fix you posted earlier?

Do you know where you can download the premium if you already own it?

Thanks

You can email Bible.org if you already paid for it and they will fix you up. They have a forums section too. But if you're a little technical, you can make the other fix described below.

The other fix was to change the Verses table > Comments field from a TEXT_BLOB to a TEXT field. I contacted Bible.org about using some of their material. The person responded and said sure you can use what you requested. And while your making e-Sword modules can you help us fix our e-Sword modules? So it was a win-win.

When you were fixing the NET Bible, did you fix the REB as well?

I don't have a copy of this resource, off hand. What's the problem with it in e-Sword 10?

I shouldn't be surprised that you don't have a copy. It was pulled from Bible.org a couple of months ago.

Basically, the same thing as the NET commentary. Text doesn't display, or is garbled in search.
I'll walk through my copy, and identify and fix all of the points of failure.

Well, getting the replacement NET premium module was easy enough. Emailed them, and they sent me a direct link. Their notes are worth the price of admission for sure!
