Can AI create a bible commentary module?  AI has improved so much that I ask it for assistance and it appears that it would interact with the tooltip tool.  I need a commentary for " https://www.roger-e-...g/teachersbible".  I need all the help I can get in putting this commentary into an e-sword module. I don't feel up to doing this module by myself

You will need the author's permission to create a module as that work is copyrighted

I have used ChatGPT to create (and update) a commentary module based on my eSword notes. Obviously, no copyright issues there. So it’s technically possible.

To answer your question, yes, AI is more than capable at this stage of creating a Bible commentary from raw PDF text.  I've uploaded a module here if you'd like to download it:
http://www.biblesupp...ble-commentary/

As to copyright concerns, my best interpretation from Dickson's Document of Release and Distribution is that it's an open copyright, he's waived all permission requirements and intends for his work to be freely and broadly distributed, and the wording seems to strongly imply he's perfectly fine with a module of the commentary being created and shared.  However on the upload page I did note that if this interpretation is wrong, I'd be happy to remove the commentary immediately upon request.

EDIT: As an additional safety, I'm also sending him an email right now, (1) to confirm permission, and (2) because he might be interested to know that his work now exists as a downloadable e-Sword module so he can promote it as well.

It looks good but needs a little bit refining such as spacing the text out a little and tooltipping the cross references

Good catches.  Just added a new version that improves on the spacing and adds some basic tooltipping.
