Is one able to just select any module click on it and expect it to appear and run on sword-x? Or is it somewhat more complicated?

I noticed that one recent offering specifically mentioned "apple", does this mean that only modules that specify "apple" can only be downloaded and be expected to be functional?  Kind Regards.
