uncle808us, I directed the following query to Rick Meyers:
Comments: on the e-Sword HD for the iPad, what selection should the user use to discover the meaning of each of the icons that are provided on the various screens? Is there a Help page which can be accessed where these are listed and clearly explained? This query was prompted by a user's query that was directed to Bible support.

His reply was as follows: Olaf,

Tap the menu button () [this looks like three parallel lines one above the other] in e-Sword HD, then tap the "Tutorial" menu item. Additionally, there is a "Help" button () [this looks like a question mark in white on a black circular background] on the top toolbar for the Editor and Resources views with specific help for those views.

also have a look at https://www.e-sword.net/ipad/index.htm and then watch the selections of pictures that Rick Meyers provides, which appears to scroll through the queries of the meaning of various options available for the E-SWORD HD. Also browse down that page, to see further Features. Each of the illustration pictures can be selected - and they will each pop up in an enlarged version.
