Page parameters added when printing the page
When using the Messenger option provided by Bible Support, when the page is printed using Microsoft Edge, then various bits and pieces are added to the header, and to the footer. This Messenger option is found at the top right of the Biblesupport.com web page, counting from the right, (4) Messenger, (3) Notifications; (2) Your Profile; (1) Sign Out;
In the header, I would prefer to print the URL left justified.
In the footer, there is a banner displayed, which is added at the footer section of each printed page, but which overwrites and obscured an important part of the content of the page, when using the Microsoft Edge browser. This is a nuisance. This also occurs when printing pages various websites. I have not managed to decode whether this is added by Javascript, or some other application. I will report this as something to be corrected by Microsoft.
What is the source of this banner? Where is this banner added from? Is this part of the web design of the Messenger print option? Where do we find these parameters? Can this banner be selectively turned off, by the user, and replaced by the incremental page number of the print, when making a printout of the content of the Messenger content? I am not permitted to attach a Word docx file to this module, but could attach it as an attachment in PDF format, after writing this file.
Where are these accessed from, and how can these be selectively added, or removed, from the printout of the page?
If I use the Firefox browser, then I can print the page, and the text on the page will be printed out, and not overwritten by the banner at the foot of each printed page.
Is there an option to be able to include a document or a picture in the Messenger content, when creating the message, or when editing and amending the previously written message? Then I could add a screen print of the content that is printed.
Incidentally, I notice that when the Messenger page is saved, the PC uses some Artificial Intelligence, and removed part of the name of the author of "Is The Higher Criticism Scholarly?", replacing the second word with four stars. The author's name is R-o-b-e-r-t D-i-c-k W-i-l-s-o-n. (Ph.D., D.D., Professor of Semitic Philology in Princeton Theological Seminary). (1922). Perhaps between the early years of the twenty-first century the name became used as a euphemism of a word in local American slang to refer to part of the human sex organs which the women did not want to speak about aloud in polite society.
