I am not even sure how to ask this accurately because I have asked it several ways in the forum search tool but could not find any related topics and I am sure someone has asked it before.

How do I find book introductions in the commentaries on e-sword?

Like, I a want to find introductions/overviews to 1 Samuel. When I go to 1 Samuel, it always starts at 1:1. I want the introductions.

Thanks.

Steve

In the commentary window, the "B" button is for book view comments, the "C" button is for chapter view comments, and the "V" button is for verse view comments. Not all commentaries have "book level comments," but the ones that do, you'll find there. Sometimes the book introductions are added into the "verse level comments" at 1:1. You'll have to experiment with each commentary. Some commentaries for e-Sword don't include any book level and/or chapter level comments.

In the screenshot is verse(by Book and Chapter)  highlighted in blue in the Albert Barnes Commentary.
Click on "Book" so that it is blue.

You use "e-Sword X". Please, mention the e-Sword version for the next time.
