HOW TO DOWNLOAD A FILE WITH EXE FILE TYPE IN THE WINDOWS PC IF THIS GETS DELETED BY THE SYSTEM SECURITY
If you are using the Microsoft Edge browser, and have encountered the fact that the files with ".exe" in the filename are being blocked, and being deleted, here is a way around this problem.
The utility provided by Bible Support, ModuleInstallerSetup06.exe is being blocked by the updated security provided on Windows PC. When I try to download this file, I can see the download occur, then the PC sees the ".exe" file type, and immediately blocks the file, or deletes the file so that it cannot be seen. It is essential that I modify my PC so that it asks me what to do every time a download occurs.
These notes provide the solution of how to rename the file to be downloaded, how to remove the Properties Block applied by the Windows Security System to the file, and how to rename the file so that it will proceed safely.
