There is a translation online called the 2001 Translation (2001Translation.com). The translators admittedly do not know the original languages, so they used interlinears and lexicons to create their translation. There are some very interesting renderings ("ark" is rendered as "chest," "spirit" is translated as "breath" and others). They give extensive footnotes for their renderings (though some don't make any sense at all).

I was told some years ago that I could feel free to make an e-sword module (because they had no idea how), but I haven't had the time nor ability to do it since i requested it.

Is this a translation you might consider making into a module? (and with the footnotes, it may require a commentary module as well).

It is not an official JW translation, but I think that at least some of the "translators" are of the JW persuasion (see John 1:1)

Thanks in advance. I think this would be an interesting version for study.

Patch

I have this in NT only originally the module creation was in 2007

I agree with this site's policy so I will not be uploading it but i can email or upload to file share site if you need it I only use mine for comparing translations

May God change our hearts to what the truth is

2Ti_2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Rom_9:16 So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.

2Ti 2:24-25  And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient, In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;

I have been given permission yet again (received the email yesterday) to distribute it as an e-sword module if ever it gets made. So, permission has been granted to distribute it. It is an online-only Bible, and they making it freely available.

Hi Cobb78,

Here is a sample Attached File  2011 AEB sample.RTF   10.98K   5 downloads

Now this is what I did and you should follow what i did. in Tool Tip Tool (T3)

I saved the Book from the Internet
I open word (office 2007) - Html
I select all, copy and paste into T3
I selected all , I changed font size to12 so the entire file is size 12 (If i want the other main title bigger i can do that.

(Look at the sample for the rest of what i did)
If you want a heading or Title before the verses PRESS Shift key and RETURN key.

go to edit - use find and replace <http://www.2001trans...om/Jehovah.htm> I found this and replace it with nothing. Use this for a lot of editing.

thanks
