Try going to LibreOffice writer Options ->View tab and uncheck the box "Use Skia for all rendering"

Cheers Jon, and thanks for that. It worked.

 

I don't mind it popping up when I launch Train Simulator, but it gets a bit much when launching LibreOffice Writer, or any other LibreOffice software.

 

If you were over here I'd shout some fish and chips or Pāua and chips.

 

Just to explain what Pāua is for you non Kiwi blokes:

Pāua is the Māori name given to three New Zealand species of large edible sea snails, marine gastropod molluscs which belong to the family Haliotidae, known in the United States and Australia as abalone, and in the United Kingdom as ormer shells

was having this problem recently.

 

seems under options > editor options > "paste as formatted" was unselected. took quite a while to find this for me. as it was working previously then just kinda stopped. perhaps i accidentally hit F11 and disabled it.

 

hope this helps someone.
