Greetings....

So in version 10 of E-Sword this change happened:

E-Sword modules are now HTML-based! This change will allow many new and unique resources to be created for e-Sword. Don't worry, e-Sword will still work with the older RTF-based modules as well. Most of the resources have been updated to this new format, so you may want to download the updated versions of these modules, especially the non-English Bibles as they now contain the actual Unicode characters which makes for better search results. The new module format has also introduced a new Lexicon module type.

So what I'm wondering is HOW we can implement this HTML based format in module creation.   I'm using ToolTip NT 19.something (Can't get 20 to load on windows 11) and as far as I can see it saves everything in rft formatting.

Is there a way to save the module in html formatting?  In the SQLITE files the "comments" table always comes out as RTF formatted.

Also any OTHER module creation utilities out there besides tooltip NT?

Thanks!

Tooltip NT can be used to save modules in HTML format. All you have to do is save your module as an Apple formatted module. These are HTML based, and can, in fact, be used in all versions of e-Sword, including the Windows version, as long as you have at least version 11.

Wow thank you!  That solved all my problems including getting links to work correctly and getting graphics to display in commentaries...awesome....
