Unfortunately it would not make it compatible with the standardized translation with the +

Any other dictionary that may be created might not be compatible if changed

Ok. I'm basically completed as much as i can.

1. The transliteration + does not link to the dictionary. # had different dictionary problems. Th could conflict with TH. does anyone have a way to get +to work or a better idea? I was going to switch to V.

2. LTR or RTL?
The English lines flow better LTR but the Hebrew-Aramaic is normally RTL.

Based on feedback

I did wonder if parenthesis and other marks would work, it seems now we know.

Assuming these symbols and letters are for Syriac and that the link you provided is the Syriac modules, if you look down to post #2, it is clear that this is indeed a transliteration code, probably very old and during age of ascii, called

"the lexical entries are coded according to the Michigan-Claremont transliteration scheme", so your job now is to find out all you can about this, then bring the code into usable form....as I mentioned in the other post.

You will need to change scheme to usable transliteration in every module that relates to this.

Of course, this is only my opinion, you may be able to find some sort of workarounds to your problems....

Thanks

Most symbols worked. The + didn't. The # worked often. Unfortunately definitions including x# were missing.

I don't know if syriac alphabet will display so using Hebrew characters (same alphabet letters).unless someone wants it i won't try.

Just trying to fix one more item and then will share after addressing any preferences.

We really don't have anything useful with peshitta here so hopefully this fills a study void. Good to give back something meaningful.

I don't have strongs numbers.
