Hello, I have not been on this site in a while. At one time, several years ago, I downloaded a lot of the modules but somehow or other I never finished. I also purchased a flash drive through this ministry at one time. I was curious how to go about downloading all the files. I do not have a Droid so I do not need MySword. What are the differences between ESword Categories and Bookshelves. Are they the same thing but with different tabulations on sources? The Bookshelves add up to 9323 resources and the Categories add to 7110 including the Esword 8X which I assume are additional resources not included in the former categories in that section? Any help appreciated. Just don't want to be downloading the same things twice or more. Thank you. Bro. Clint

e-Sword 8 is an earlier outdated version of e-Sword, the current version is version 13. Modules listed for e-Sword 8 do not work with the current version of e-Sword. As for downloading all of the resources there is no bulk download option available.

I realize there is no bulk option to download but do E-Sword Categories and Bookshelves have the same Modules, only organized differently? If I download all resources in both will I be downloading everything twice? Can I download everything in E-Sword Categories and have everything without going to something else? Thank you. Clint

On the downloads page at the left there are Categories and Bookshelves

Alright. At the left, as you say, there are E-Sword Categories, MySword Categories, Download E-Sword, and Bookshelves.

 

I have ruled out the need for MySword Categories, and I realize the Download E-Sword option I have already done and that it has Premium (pay-for) modules.

 

That leaves two sections: E-Sword Categories and Bookshelves. Do both of these sections contain the same exact books, but only categorized differently? For instance, the Bookshelves mention History, Language/Interpretation, and Biblical Studies. Would all these be the same books under the E-Sword Categories Reference Section? Or do I download all books from both the E-Sword Categories and Bookshelves? I don't know how to phrase it otherwise and don't know what I am missing.

I think there could be some missing from the Bookshelves due to module makers not assigning anything. I would just go for the Categories, I believe that would include all in Bookshelves.
