How to search for the word mąż which appears in the Polish UBG Bible.

Select the Bible Maximized option (Ctrl+F2). Select the Polish UBG Bible. Find the word you want to use. For example, look in Gen 29:26, and select the word mąż Click on "Bible" > "Extended search" and in the first box enter the required word mąż Click on the Bibles icon that looks like three books. Click on the "select all" option, to select all, then click on the option "select all" again to unselect all. Then browse to the Polish Bible, and select that so there is a checkmark (a tick mark), in the selection option. Then exit this selection box by tapping the "X" in the top right corner of this dialogue box. We have now limited the search to a particular Bible only, to speed up the search.

Click on the second search option selection box, and tap on the down selection arrow, and change the option to "Search for the exact phrase". Otherwise, the search will begin one letter at a time.

Click in the third option selection box and select which part of the Bible is to be included in the search. If you want to limit the search to only a specific range of books in the Bible, click on the "Additional search options" icon, which looks like a gear wheel, and enter the beginning book, and the last book, in the "Search Range" of books of the Bible, as explained in your copy of the e-Sword User's Guide on page 54.

Click on the "Search" icon, which looks like binoculars.

RESULT: The references of the book of the Bible, with chapter and verse, with the selected word mąż highlighted, in the text of the verses, will appear in the display box.

Now click anywhere in the results window; then right-click, and "select all". Then right-click again, and you will have the option to "Copy"; "Paste into Topic Notes", or "Select all".

To read the e-Sword User's Guide, tap your pointer in the main e-Sword application anywhere, to indicate to the computer that the context is in the e-Sword application. Then press the "F1" function key on the Microsoft keyboard. The "F1" function key is usually used in Microsoft programs to ask for Help. For notes with illustration pictures explaining how to search the Bible, please read pages 50 to 59, of CHAPTER 3: THE BIBLES WINDOWS IN DETAIL. You will find your personal copy of the e-Sword User's Guide in C:\Program Files (x86)\e-Sword\e-sword_guide.pdf where it was downloaded together with your e-Sword version 13.0.
