Hi!

I found in Bible Support / e Sword many modules, which are not available in iPhone version (for example UT Saarisalo), Biblia 1776, . How can I transfer them to iPhone. Do I need desktop version to do that. I use Mac, is it a problem, because what I read there were lots of problems with e Sword X -version?

And another question: Previous version of e Sword (or it's download resources) there were also "Pyhä Raamattu 1992". Is it available anywhere anymore in digital version to eSword free or paid -version?

Yours sincerely,

Jyri Lindroos

Look at this FAQ page for your answers. There are instructions to be found on how to install modules etc.

https://www.e-sword.net/iphone/faq.htm

Also any Bible from BibleSupport.com would need to be one identified as .bbli

This does not mean you would change the .bblx extension to .bbli and it would work. There is an official converter available as noted in the FAQ page. But it only works on the Windows OS.

Of course you can always ask for someone to convert it for you.

The Pyhä Raamattu 1992, should be available for you to download from your app downloads menu.

Here are the converted Bibles. You need to unzip them and follow the instructions in the FAQ page to get them installed to your phone.

I would also add, in addition to the instructions that JPG has given you above, that if you have a Mac, a very easy way to transfer your e-Sword resources from your Mac to your iPhone is to Airdrop them from your Mac to your iPhone. When you do this, and you choose to open the files in e-Sword LT on your iPhone, the resources will automatically be added to e-Sword and will show up right away, even if e-Sword is already open on your iPhone—in other words, no restart of e-Sword required.

So, if you have a Mac (which you do) and you know how to Airdrop, this is the easiest way to get e-Sword resources on your iPhone.
