Is there anywhere at all where one can download E-Sword 8 still?


I found that version had the most modules which worked from here.

Actually versions 9 and 10 can use most of the modules from this site, version 8 is limited to older the older module formats such as bbl for bible and cmt for commentary etc. Most of the modules on this site formatted using the module format for versions 9 and above. This format has module file extensions that end with the letter "x" such as bblx for bibles and cmtx for commentaries. 

The biggest down side to using an older version of e-Sword prior to version 11 is that you will not be able to download official modules using e-sword's built in downloader. All official modules are formatted for uses with e-sword versions 11, 12 and 13.
