BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE

JOHN HALL was born at Market Hill, County Armagh, Ireland, in 1829. For many years he was pastor of the Fifth Avenue Presbyterian Church, New York, where he had a large and devoted following. He was of fine physique, and there was a power in face and voice that at once commanded his audience. He spoke without manuscript, and his style was marked by great sincerity, directness and earnestness. He died in 1899.

The first name of the Author should be entered in the Support Topic and in the Download webpages, and in the Information columns, as "John", and not as "David W." The Surname is "Hall".

I have supplied the link to the copy of the resource from which this sermon can be obtained, to support my request. The name "David W. Hall" is a totally different person. 

 

I did send a request to Billhuff2002, but that Message has not been opened by him. I added Josh Bond, but that message has not been opened by him.  I tried to add JPG as a participant to read the message, but received a warning that JPG (Moderator) is not permitted to use the Message facility.  Please will a Moderator arrange for the entry name in Bible Support to be updated, to indicate this is a sermon by John Hall, and not by David W. Hall. Thank you. I provided the short biography of the author of the sermon, and the source details in the Review of the Download file.

Here is a reply from Rick Meyers <rick@e-sword.net> about the renaming of a filename. 
 

Renaming a file will do nothing to change its contents.  Renaming a file will simply change the order in which the file is read into the app's internal collection.  The "Details" table needs to be modified if you want to change the displayed title.
