Hello

Thanks… That's okay for the future ...

But that doesn't fix my existing problem now.

Look ...

The existing links are still connected to the text, and I can't get them away.

The problem lies here. I  cannot delete the links

Now, every new text that I insert automatically gets the link that I cannot remove...

That cannot be in the interests of the developer

Greeting

Miro

You need to copy all of the notes from e-Sword, to either Notepad or MS-Word then completely delete the notes in e-Sword and start with a blank or empty note file

To contact the developer of e-Sword directly by email, Rick Meyers, and make suggestions to him, which would be helpful to all users, use the following email address: rick@e-sword.net

I think "miro" had already contacted Rick Meyers three weeks ago and has not got a reply.

Yes, but then all of the text, highlighting, all necessary links and tab formatting is lost.

The Greek and Hebrew scripts are also lost.

So such a procedure is pointless

Not sure why ones don't use the chat feature?

Me:  Hi Jon here
Me:  you have this problem with hyperlinks in you topic
Me:  Do you have Tooltip Tool NT (T4)
Me:  If so you can copy your text to T4 and delete the hyperlinks there in that program and copy back to your topic
Me:  So your formatting won't be lost
Me:  Also in the future when pasting from the websites, the first thing I would do in a blank topic it to put a couple of spaces and then paste you content between the spaces. This should ensure that you don't get the dreaded hyperlink issue.

Hello JPG
Thank you for your message…
Unfortunately I pushed the chat away and didn't know how,  I get it back on the pc.
But I'll keep an eye on your suggestion with Tooltip Tool NT (T4).

Thanks.

Greetings
Miro

Miro

Idea was good but doesn't work for me.

By the copy from Tooltip Tool NT (T4) and insert to E-sword,

almost all  formatting is lost, including Greek and Hebrew... Only markings remain.

In addition, in the Tooltip Tool NT (T4). there is no one individually link to be deleted.

But i can see all the links under Hyperlinks.

But i can't select them to delete. They persist after deletion

I would have to delete with the funktion "Delete all Hyperlinks". that's working

But that is not the desired solution.

In e-Sword you must have set the Options -> Editor Options Paste as formatted off (It will need to be checked on)

I just tried again some English and Hebrew text in different colour and all was fine.

For the hyperlinks, you can select individual hyperlinks and delete them. See the Delete button to the right of Hyperlinks. Also you will need to have the correct setting for MODE: (next to delete)

Hi

For example:

I have in the text 3 Links

I want to delete the first offending link https://wiki.yoga-vi...e_GÃ|ttinnen#Th

under HYPERLINKS window I choose the link: 1 https://wiki.yoga-vi..._GÃ|ttinnen#Th

Mode> ALL links Delete>

Delete > Selectet Links

and under HYPERLINKS Window  the link still remains:  1 https://wiki.yoga-vi..._GÃ|ttinnen#Th

Which MODE must be set here?

Greeting

Miro
