Hello, I'm just a novice programmer but am working on a study tool that fits my study interests and am writing to ask if anyone knows where one could find information to build database tables of the Bible in the original languages.

I have the KJV with Strong's numbering, which is very helpful but I'd like to add something similar to Bagster's analytical concordances in that I could get more than the root but also the exact form of the word/phrase.  For example, sometimes you'll find "when he returned" in the KJV when it is really "in the returning of him".  It may seem minor but sometimes it's quite revealing to me.  I can often find what I need by referencing my interlinear Bible and comparing the English translation with the root but I'd like to tie it together electronically if possible.

Perhaps I should add that I'm not referring to an e-Sword module but just raw data that can be combined with other tables and queried in SQL.

Thank you.

Thank you.

When it comes to creating Bibles, Commentaries, Dictionaries and etc., irrespective almost of any language, ToolTip Tool NT is the best way to go about it. This program is essentially a word processor, but designed for the purpose of creating resources for e-Sword. This program also comes with a User Guide which will take you through the basics of creating resources for e-Sword.

As a matter of interest, ToolTip Tool NT (affectionately known and referred to as "T4") is also able to generate database files for e-Sword X (Mac Devices, HT, and LT (iOS Devices) editions.

So, with that, this means all your work is both simplified and made easy.

Trust you find this helpful to you.
