Newbie here ... just bought e-sword x on the App Store and wanted to add *.topx files that I had downloaded from this site.  I'm having difficulty.  Can anyone give me a quick 1.2.3 ??

Thanks

Topx files are made for e-Sword 9 and 10 so for the PC.

You need to convert the topx (topic notes) to refi (reference notes)

Use the Apple Converter.

What Katoog shared is true. That said, the problem may still exist because he is assuming you have a Windows PC of which the you may not have. Some people have these kind of default answers and are locked into thinking or just put their foot in their mouth thinking that Windows software is compatible with macOS. Crazy, hey!

Anyhoo, My suggestion is, if in the event you don't have a windows PC, go to the CrossOver website, and download the tool CrossOver for Mac, and install it on your machine. Once done, then download and install the converter that Katoog mentioned.

Trust you find this helpful.

Blessings,

The other issue is that when new ones post an issue they don't include their

  1. Operating System and version of OS.
  2. The language locale of their OS.
  3. Version of e-Sword
  4. The device being used

All too often these things come out later on in the discussion, which is such a waste of time for anyone trying to help.

As you asked the question, you probably are the type of user that would benefit from installing this http://www.biblesupp...dule-installer/

Follow the instructions and you can't go wrong.

I'm trying to install downloaded commentary files into eSword on my Android tablet device. They downloaded but do not show up in the eSword app other than there being an empty folder with the commentary name. Looking for any helpful advice. Thanks !
