so was "1) Split the reset settings into two parts a) layout settings and b ) everything else." what was declined?

Correct. Some make it through--some don't, such is the nature of suggestions. :)

Let's make Rick host a chat and answer questions on regular expressions, :D

Nice way to pass the buck.

Just don't ask me anything that's not in there.

Especially little things like why a regex works in 10.0.1, but not in 10.0.2.

I don't want to touch regular expressions, until the "final release" of 10.0.x is out.

How about the e-sword directions in a refx or topx file so I know where it is :-)

I would like to see a "Save As" option for Topic and Notes files. Yes, I can create topic notes in T3, but if I'm working on a new project, using images that do not work in T3 well, I would like to be able to save them from e-Sword with the name I choose. I can save a work, and rename it in Windows Explorer, but having a "Save As" option would make this simpler.

I would like to see Notes files support more that one verse for a comment.

Just a couple of wishes...

Hi:

I installed e-Sword 10.0.4 on my computer. The eSword 10.0.4 software works however the eSword 9.8 macro for Microsoft Word 2007 failed to work properly. I will appreciate your assistance. More power to you in Jesus' Name.

God bless:
Antonio

There is no "Save as" but you can press Ctrl-right click and create a new file with the name you choose. In case you didn't know. It's not the same, but it's the closest we have.

Me too. That way you could easily create a commentary from a study notes file.

It appears that the RTF headers in the Notes are handled differently than the Commentary files in v10, creating a NOTX includes an RTF header, the CMTX supplies its own header.

I agree this would be helpful - but Josh told me that there is a reason Rick decided to treat the RTF differently. I don't know what that reason is but, it is what it is.

thanks
Clint
