Red Letter Bibles problem

I have version 12.0.1 and I have downloaded two different Bibles that have red lettering for Jesus' words, but neither one of them shows up as red in eSword. I just know the basics about computers and programs. I checked the help files on e-Sword and I searched throughout Bible Support and could find nothing regarding my problem. Could someone please help?

check in your Options -> display settings, that Red Letter, is checked.
