"Girded Your Loins" and "Belted Your Waist" just doesn't have the same impact for me:) I think the NASB has done well to change "man" to "mankind" or "people" where appropriate. Though it does take the fun out of explaining to people that the use of "man" is not entirely incorrect as the Bible clearly shows the women are clearly considered under the covering of the  men as is the Church under Christ.

---God’s Love is a Verb:---

John 3:16

For God so loved the world, that He gave his only begotten Son,

that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

@Adam Olive Well, well, well; there you go. All the panic, worry, and stress for nothing. ... The point I'm trying to make is that even you could have found that out for yourself.

There was no panic, worry or stress. .... Not a very kind reply.

I know the arrogance of the guy is absolutely overwhelming.

NASB has gotten woke with those choices of words and i refuse to use it. im just glad they removed the pagan god's name yove from the text.
