Hi Josh;  I have the hard cover of "The Portable Seminary" by David Horton, general editor.  Was wondering if this can be made available as a reference work for e-Sword?  I realize it is a very large volume.  The cost would probably be around $20-25.  This is a really outstanding reference work for all levels of study.

Blessings,

Michael Clark

Josh,

After a hiatus from using Esword (due to switching to Mac) I've discovered I can use it via CrossOver.  I did a search to see if the Daily Study Bible was available but can't find it.  I'm pretty sure I did have it on my PC, but I can't locate it.  Can you shoot me in the right direction?

Much thanks.

Mark

I assume that you're talking about William Barclay's New Testament Commentary - Daily Study Bible. If so, click the link below:

Philippians 4:6-7 (KJV)
6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. 7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

When it comes to Paragraphed editions of the Bible for e-Sword they are a nightmare for doing searches because the verse you may be wanting or hoping to get is within a certain paragraph, it will not display. There are other problems too when it comes to pasting directly into one of the editors if the verse is in a certain paragraph. It simply will not work, and its for that reason I'm not all that keen on them. In hard copy format, I have no issues with them, as I use them for for reading purposes only, and I think on that basis they are really excellent. But for study purposes I steer away from them.

These are just my own thoughts and perspective on this issue.

Blessings,

I would like to see The History of Herodotus as an e-Sword module. It is currently being offered as a Kindle module at: www.sacred-texts.com
