I use e-Sword for all my Bible study and lesson preparation and so grateful for all it provides.

The latest version (12.20) was downloaded yesterday and I tried installing it.  It completed normally, but when I opened it, it hadn't updated at all.

So I backed up my current setup and uninstalled it.  I then reinstalled it, and it completed normally.  However, it is nowhere to be found!

I use it under Windows 10, which is up to date on my laptop.

 

I will reinstall the previous version and see if it still works for now, as I use it regularly.

Hi Ken,

If you clicked on About in the Help Menu Item you would have seen in the About dialog, the version number.

As to the rest of your post, I'm sorry I can't help you.

 

By the way, what was the previous version of e-Sword you had? Reason for this question is that if it was either 12.00 or 12.10, then you wouldn't have seen much visible change to the interface. Changes in 12.20 was mostly "under the hood" and therefore not really noticeable unless you looked for them.

Hi APsit190.

Thanks for your response to my question.  I was upgrading from 11.22 to 12.20.  I have tried installing 12.10, but to no avail.  Same problem as with 12.20.  I have now reinstalled 11.22 and have restored my resources and settings.  I will wait to see if anyone else has had the problem and how it was resolved.
