I can provide the NKJV footnotes in a commentary module for you by email if you would like

 

Thanks Tj, that's very thoughtful!  I was fortunate enough to have saved an old QuickVerse Bible software from Parsons which had the NKJV (including NKJV footnotes) in STEP format and I was able to convert the STEP format to RTF format using a utility that I downloaded here BibleSupport.com.  I was then able to create an e-Sword commentary module containing just the NKJV footnotes from that RTF file using e-Sword ToolTip Tool NT.  If your commentary module also contains other NKJV Center-Column notes in addition to the footnotes, then I would definitely be very interested in that.

You're welcome!  To clarify my previous response -- you can download a free (noteless) version of the NET Bible directly from e-Sword and see how you like it.  You can also buy a premium version of the NET+ Bible (New English Translation Study Set) from a third party via e-Sword.  The premium version includes a New English Translation Notes commentary module in addition to the Bible module. The premium version that I purchased recently contains the Second Edition in both the Bible and Commentary modules.  

 

The premium NET+ Bible module contains (1) the references to the 50,000+ NET translation notes that you can hover over to read, and (2) the Strong's numbers that you can hover over to read.  The hovering works on my Windows PC.  On my Android cell phone, I have to select the translation note or Strong's number.  I can't verify how it works on Apple computers, iPads, iPhones, etc.
