I am trying to convert the Geneva Bible user created resource to ios format and when I run the converter utility, it fails to convert and says the module is locked. I tried converting other user created modules to ios format and it runs fine. Am I doing something wrong? I am running the latest version of e-sword on the pc and the latest conversion software.

I think the installer must have had a file lock on it still. I had already run the file through the official converter to check it worked, and it did. So after a chat, I sent the file over. No time for a full autopsy...

I have downloaded the converter and it says it was successful but I cant find the files?  Where does the converter place the completed files?

If you have tried to convert the file and it is in the e-Sword folder then depending on your user account settings, it can only be written to a virtualstore folder, for safety reasons.

%LOCALAPPDATA%\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\e-Sword

If you put this into the file explorer bar and hit return it will take you there.

Move the file into the normal e-Sword folder.

To avoid this happening in the future move the file you want to convert to the desktop and convert it there, then move the converted file to the e-Sword folder.

or run the converter as administrator, should allow it to write the file to the e-Sword folder.

Beware that you should delete or move the original file so that e-Sword does not have two of the same files. I usually just put an underscore after the file extension so kjv.bblx I would make kjv.bblx_
