Hello,

I have uploaded my bible module, the Holy Name Bible, but it doesn't appear that it has been reviewed.

Can someone please review it so that it can be released as a public download?

I have uploaded my bible module, the Holy Name Bible, but it doesn't appear that it has been reviewed.

If you are looking for an academic type review, then in all probability that will not happen. Usually the review part is more about:

  • Appreciation of the product, which usually is a thank you
  • Complaints of how the resource doesn't work, or what is missing
  • Advice of what needs to be fixed, such as typos, bad grammar, or something may not make any sense.

So, basically, all the review bit is more of a feedback kind of thing.

So, with that my advice is just make it public and wing it to see how well it goes.

Usually, if you don't get any reviews or feedback of one sort or another, then you can be thankful that what you put out is ok.

Trust that this is sort of helpful to you. If not, oh well, at least I tried.

Blessings,

You might want to see if it still uploaded as it does not appear among the list of bible modules on this site

It's telling me that an administrator must approve my module upload before it can be made public.

That means that the owner of this site is reviewing your module to make sure there are no copyright issues

I have posted two additional modules for review and that hasn't happened yet. What is the best way to try and get modules reviewed?

I just had a look at the HNB download page, and thus far there have as been 26 downloads of the file for Windows version of e-Sword, and 2 downloads for the iOS versions of e-Sword (HT, LT and X).

Therefore, if people are actually downloading the file, then it has all the appearance of it being kosher. If there was a problem with the resource, then it would have been taken down. So quit worrying about a "review." It doesn't need one.

Moreover, because others have actually downloaded it, guess what?! Its public, in that any Tom, D i c k, and Harry can download those files: even me, if I wished to.

So take a deep breath, and slowly let it out, and stay calm.

Blessings,

APsit190: he mean 2 other modules. the apple edition and perhaps the Mysword edition.

reviewed by an admin so that they are viewable by everybody.

An admin has reviewed the apple edition (2 downloads).

If you are a new user then is the admin review slower because maybe have you an agenda.

If the source is unknown (here a relative unknown Sacred Name Bible but still an update of one of the first published Sacred Name Bibles ever) then takes it longer to review.

There is still a quality control against false doctrines and slander against Christians.

"Testimony of Yeshua" is banned for this reason.

And it is easier for an admin if you write info about it in the change log.

To quote your Holy Name Bible:

2Ti 3:10  But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, love, patience,

Patience is a virtue!

Only the MySword edition is not listed at the moment. That said, considering that both e-Sword and e-Sword for iOS and Mac has been accepted, then there really shouldn't be a problem with the MySword edition.

Blessings,

Stephen (Php 1:21).
