I can't answer the first question but as for your second question any bible module that is has the module file type, bblx will work with e-Sword version 10.1

Hello ihsiu1,
Have a look in the Bible, Information option, and also look at the entry from where you downloaded the specific Chinese Bible, to see who supplied the specific version of the Chinese Bible, and who held the copyright, which you are using.
If it is from Bible Support, contact the person who supplied the bible module to Bible Support. Then, if that person is still alive, they may be able to correct the typo. If possible supply that person with a link where they can see proof that they had made an error in their conversion of the language.
The modules produced before e-Sword version 11 was released in 2016, had all the letters coded in RTF codes. So look at the dates when the module was created, or when you loaded it to your PC. Look at the date in C:\Program Files\e-Sword  (32-bit), or in C:\Program Files (x86)\e-Sword  if you are using (64-bit) operating system.

If the Chinese Bible is one that was downloaded from e-Sword "Download" options, then let Rick Meyers know. His e-mail address is rick@e-sword.net  You will notice that all the dates of those Chinese Bibles provided by Rick Meyers were dated after 2016-09-05, so they are likely to have been coded in HTML formatting. Rick Meyers gives the source where they came from.
